What is “Drill-down Articles”?

"Drill-down" in the information technology is to move from summary information to detailed data by focusing on an objective. It is used to describe articles that are stemmed from a single lead article that give a more in-depth or detailed information of the same subject (See Lead Article). These are users contributed articles such as critiques and comments, blogs which give the subject an in-depth and complete coverage. If the Lead Article is a prism, then the Drill-down Articles are the spectrum of the prism.
