Can we change? Yes we can.
Hi, my name is Peter and welcome to my corner of cyberspace.
I started blogging in 2007 to share my personal story of change. To cut a long story short, I know what it is like to be depressed and drifting through life without purpose. My wake up call came in 2006 when I received the unexpected news I was to be a father. This news was the catalyst for me getting my life in order, and these days I am happy to report that life is great. Here are a few bits and pieces about me:
- I am 26 years old and live in Vancouver, Canada. I immigrated here in 2007 from Australia.
- I have a beautiful wife (Kathryn) and two boys under two (Xavier and Rohan).
- I am editor of the popular self improvement blog Pick The Brain.
- I have a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance and Banking) and Bachelor of Arts (History and Asian Studies) from the University of Western Australia
If you would like to learn more about me, here are a few things that may interest you:
When reading this blog, please be aware that my life is a work-in-progress and I don’t have all the answers. I would, however, love for you to join me as I explore how we can consciously change for the better - both on an individual level and on a global scale. The 3 best ways to follow this blog are:

My heart started to pump b...

Why not use your own inherent creative capacities to be the artist of your own life? We often feel trapped; unable to change directions while on the roads we travel. But just as a writer can overcome creative blocks when stari...

In addition, I have a reputation for outstanding achievements at different competitions in the domains of physics, sociology, languages, chemistry, and so on. Due to this quite bizarre combination I was known as the slothful genius of the school. Now, regarding being a slothI admit my bad ways and do my best ...
