Hi, my name is Mary Jaksch. Welcome to Goodlife Zen! I hope you enjoy this warm, supportive, and respectful community.
Articles at Goodlife Zen inhabit the space where personal growth meets spirituality.
As an authorized Zen master (Diamond Sangha lineage), psychotherapist, and author, I have a burning interest in questions that touch spirituality and personal growth. When writing for Goodlife Zen, I also bring to bear my life experience. I have two nationalities, English and German, and live in New Zealand. I’m the mother of a lovely son and live happily ever after with my partner David.
I’ve been awarded an MA in Religious Studies, hold a 4th Dan Blackbelt in karate, started my professional life as a flautist, and love dancing Argentine tango wearing skimpy dresses.
Most of all, I am a human being. Like you, I’m continually learning and growing. And I’m happy to share what I’m learning with you.
If you have concerns or suggestions, or would like to write a guest post, please don’t hesitate to contact me here.
You might also like to visit my other blog Write to Done that I share with Leo Babauta of Zen Habits. It’s a blog for writers and I’m the Chief Editor.
