火星档案

    火星比地球小一些,半径为地球的53%,体积为地球的15%,质量为地球的11%,表面重力为地球的38%。火星有稀薄的大气,95%是二氧化碳,还有3%的氮,大气密度约为地球大气的1%。火星每24.63小时自转一圈,并在一条椭圆轨道上以25.2度的倾斜角绕太阳公转,周期为687天,因而与地球一样,有四季分明的气候,冬季最低温度为零下125℃,夏季最高22℃,平均气温-63℃。这样的自然状态虽然仍不适合人居住,但与月球相比,可说有天壤之别。虽然目前在火星上还看不到液态水,但迄今探测发现的大量水流痕迹,至少说明火星上曾经有过滔滔大水,而且科学家们也发现火星两极有大量的冰存在。

    此外,火星上的绿黏土和火山灰,有利于植物生长;火星大气中有足够的二氧化碳气体,可提高植物光合作用的效能,使农作物获得比地球上更大的丰收。火星上到处都是氧化铁等氧化物质,可还原出氧气来。火星上有丰富的能源。如风能比地球上要丰富得多;火星上有地热能;还可利用二氧化碳和氢制造甲烷燃料;也可用重氢进行核发电等等。火星上有火山活动和水流冲击形成的各种金属富矿,这比散布在土石中的月球金属元素优越得多。

 About Mars 

    Mars is a bit smaller than the Earth,it's semidiameter is 53% of that of the Earth,and it's volume is Earth's15%,the mass is 11% and the superficial gravity is 38%.There are thin air surrounding the Mars, 95% of them is carbon dioxide and 3% is nitrogen ,the atmospheric density is about 1% of that on the Earth.The Mars autorotating a circle every 24.63 hours,and revoluting around the Sun with a period of 687 days in a slant angle of 25.2 degree along the elliptic orbit.So just as the Earth, there are four clearly seasons on the Mars,the minimum temperature in the winter is negative 125℃,the highest temperature in summer is 22℃,and the average temperature is -63℃.Therefore,although the natural enviroment on the Mars is not suitable for the human beings,compared with the Moon,it is much better.Although at present no liquid water is discovered on the Mars,the sign of current detected shows that there was flood in the past,besides,the scientists found a lot of ice existed in the two poles of the Mars.  

    On the other hand,there are green clays and eruption on the Mars,which is good for the growing of plants;there are also plenty of carbon dioxide gas in the Mars atmosphere ,which can improve the efficiency of photosynthesis and enable a larger harvest than on the Earth.The oxidizing substance like iron oxide existed everywhere on the Mars,so the Oxygen can be deoxidized.What's more,there are abundant energy on the Mars:such as the wind energy is much more than that on the earth; the geothermal energy on the Mars;the methane fuel produced by carbon dioxide and hydrogen;the nuclear power generation with heavy hydrogen and so on.There are volcanicity and kinds of metalliferous minerals formed by rush of current on the Mars,which is superior to the metallic element spread in the terram on the Moon.
