美国影星安吉莉娜·茱莉让全世界的人知晓和崇敬。不过这不是因为她的美貌和演技，而是她联合国慈善大使的身份和一次又一次的善举。6年前收养了柬埔寨孤儿马克多斯，3年前收养了埃塞俄比亚女孩扎哈伊，2年前生下女儿希洛，1年前收养了越南孤儿帕克斯，加上今年7月产下的龙凤胎，安吉莉娜·茱莉和布拉德·皮特目前共有6个孩子。

意外的恶作剧
2008年3月，32岁的越南人吉娜，来到茱莉与皮特夫妇家做保 姆。客厅的水晶灯下挂着两个大大的写字板。一块写着《家庭规则》：1.不准玩芭比娃娃；2.不准玩塑料大兵；3.不准喝可乐；4.不准吃快餐；5.不准看卡通；6.衣着打扮没限制。另一块则写着3月22日孩子们要完成的事：“马克多斯 (值日)，负责做早餐；训练多福到院子里撒尿……帕克斯，收拾浴缸里的玩具，学一小时法语……扎哈伊，收起口红和眼影，将昨天抢希洛的玩具还给她……希洛，自己穿袜子，颜色要对，把巧克力洗发香波交给保姆布兰吉……每完成一件事，请自觉用红笔画钩！”
第二天一早，吉娜被一阵尖利的哭声惊醒。小姑娘希洛的双手和背部牢牢地粘在了床上，一条薄被子缠在她身上，她吓得拼命地哭喊。皮特伸手在床上一摸，断定被人洒了胶水。大家将希洛连同床单一起放进浴缸，希洛摆脱束缚，才停止哭泣。希洛是他们唯一亲生的女儿，吉娜以为皮特夫妇会冲进另外三个孩子的房间兴师问罪。但他们只是各自打着哈欠，抱着希洛回到房间。
这激起了吉娜极大的好奇心，2007年茱莉到越南收养孤儿，曾经引起轰动，有人认为她作秀，有人认为她爱孩子成瘾。吉娜想看看茱莉怎样教育孩子。
独特的“闹钟”
6点半，闹钟骤响。吉娜第一个起床，却不见人下来。大门却被敲得吧嗒响，一只高大的拉布拉多犬带着一只小牧羊犬，一只波斯猫和一只羊，用爪子拍打着大门。开门后四只动物跑上了楼，瞬间楼上一片嘈杂。
吉娜和保姆布兰吉一起做早餐，巧克力酱和比萨饼。那只拉布拉多犬冲进厨房，跟着出现在门口的是一个帅气的亚裔小男孩。布兰吉问：“马克多斯，早上给父母准备什么？”“番茄意大利面！”随后那只羊走过来，又一个黄种男孩出现了，帕克斯。原来，6点半的闹钟是闹醒动物的，它们再充当孩子们的闹钟。吉娜用越南语跟帕克斯问好，孩子也用越南话回答，他没有忘掉母语，吉娜动情地上去拥抱了他。
接着下来的是希洛，后面跟着波斯猫，看不到一丝因为昨晚被捉弄得痛哭的阴影。她顽皮地冲着吉娜微笑，一副大明星见到崇拜者的模样。
马克多斯调番茄酱的动作非常熟练，他每周给父母做一次早餐，已经坚持了两年。接着他拿起了厨房里的内线电话，说：“爹地，你要是还不起来，鞋子里就会发现鸡蛋；妈咪，再不起来，功夫熊猫(茱莉参与制作的迪斯尼同名动画大片主角)就要吃芥末了！”
早餐桌上的混战
茱莉和皮特摇晃着走下来，就像孩子们习惯被动物们叫醒一样，他们享受着被孩子叫醒的乐趣。茱莉发现少了一个孩子，问：“我们的扎哈伊公主呢？”帕克斯回答：“她说要绝食，抗议希洛弄坏了她的玩具，除非爸爸妈妈允许她再玩一天希洛的百宝箱！”茱莉拿起电话：“甜心，要是你现在下楼，会得到比百宝箱更大的惊喜！”
扎哈伊终于下楼了，那是一个腿稍微有点儿罗圈的胖嘟嘟的黑人小姑娘，她刚被收养的时候，病得奄奄一息。茱莉带着她辗转世界各地，终于治好了她的病。
待孩子们坐定，茱莉一边往嘴里塞面条，一边说：“昨晚希洛的床上被人倒了胶水，我想知道这是谁做的。我要知道真相，并要你们保证将这个恶作剧从家庭游戏里永远删除。”
马克多斯嗖地将一块饼子丢到帕克斯面前，说：“只有他有那种强力胶！”帕克斯腾地站起来：“不是我，是扎哈伊偷了我的胶水。”扎哈伊反应激烈，抓起一把巧克力酱甩到帕克斯脸上。帕克斯也恼了，把巧克力当炸弹乱丢，用越南语喊着：“去死，去死！”随着战争面扩大，帕克斯说越南语，扎哈伊说非洲语，马克多斯开始说柬埔寨语，其间又夹杂着英语、法语。希洛觉得很好玩，兴奋地尖叫，抓起食物将自己涂得满头满脸。食物丢得满地都是，而茱莉夫妇依然在气定神闲地享用早餐。皮特吃饱喝足后说：“今晚我值班，到那时你们得给出答案，否则一周之内，所有人不准看动画片！”两人头也不回地撤退，留下一堆混战的孩子。
真相大白
父母一退场，孩子们立即安静了，要布兰吉帮忙换上干净衣服上学去，马克多斯上足球学校，扎哈伊去跳芭蕾，帕克斯和希洛则去学习音乐和画画。
吉娜一边收拾一边忍不住道出她对茱莉夫妇的失望。布兰吉说： “孩子们知道自己来自哪里，他们感激父母，想证明自己是最棒的孩子，只要茱莉夫妇在场，就想表现自己。巧克力和比萨饼孩子们百吃不厌，因为打起架来不疼。茱莉夫妇每天不到一个小时陪伴孩子，也近乎溺爱地满足他们，早餐不变，平时会搭配零食来补充营养。”
吉娜问：“她为什么不让大家都说英语，我看她连孩子说了脏话也听不懂！”布兰吉说：“她希望孩子们不忘本，请来能教孩子们母语的保姆，在越南和柬埔寨为两个儿子买下了两栋房子，每年带着他们到那儿住两天，她想告诉他们，那里是他们的根，长大后他们要回到那里，帮助更多的人。”吉娜终于明白，这个看似混乱的家庭，其实有着十分符合人性的秩序。这时，门铃响了，是百货公司送货来了。茱莉夫妇工作之余为孩子们订了各种玩具、衣服和食品，其中有个包装纸上写着百宝箱。
下午孩子们陆续回到家里，按写字板上的提示，做着各自的事情。茱莉回家后，带着孩子们拆那些礼盒。当扎哈伊将百宝箱拿到手里时，尖叫着亲了妈妈一口，说：“妈咪，胶水是我倒的。”茱莉耐心地问：“为什么？”“因为希洛老盖不住被子，我想那样她的被子就不会掉了。”旁边的马克多斯说：“为什么早上不承认？”“希洛弄坏了我的玩具，帕克斯说我报复，我怕你们不相信我！”茱莉在扎哈伊脸上轻轻亲了一口，说： “宝贝，我相信你们所有的人！”
晚上，皮特回来了。值日的意思是皮特要亲自为孩子们做一顿晚餐。不过是炸薯条和炸鸡腿，皮特带着孩子们吃得津津有味。吉娜对布兰吉说：“为什么不把客厅那些规定撤掉，我看6条规定只有最后一条遵守了！”布兰吉说：“没全遵守不等于不起作用，给规定留一条小缝，让人做了坏事偷着乐，又有所畏惧，这比强硬地禁止要有效得多！”

Angelina Jolie , an American movie star, is known and respected by people around the world. It has nothing to do with her beauty and acting skills but with her numerous good deeds as Goodwill Ambassador for UN Refugee Agency. Six years ago, she adopted an orphan, Maddox, in Cambodia; three years ago, a girl, Zahara, in Ethiopia; two years ago, she gave birth to a girl, Shiloh; one year ago, she again, adopted a boy,Pax, in Vietnam; this July, she gave birth to a pigeon pair. So, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have six children all togethder.
What is the life like in such a multi-lingual family with its members of different nationalities (it is like a mini-UN)? This is what nanny Jinna witnessing as she worked in Jolie's on the first day.
Unexpected Mischief
On March, 2008. A 32-year-old Vietnamese, Jinna, began to work as a nanny in Jolie and Pitt's. As she entered the living room, she saw two big boards hanging below a crystal chandelier.
On one board, it said:

On the other, it listed what the kids need to do on March22. saying:

STUDY FRENCH FOR ONE HOUR
Zahara:PUT AWAY THE LIPSTICK AND EYE SHADOW

Shiloh:WEAR SOCKS BY YOURSELF AND IN THE SAME COLOR

The next morning, Jinna was awaken by a shiek. Shiloh screamed from fright as her hands and back were stuck on the bed with a quit wrapped around her body. Pitt touched the bed and concluded that someone applied glue on it. They put Shiloh, as well as the sheet into the bath tub and Shiloh stopped crying until she was free. As Shiloh was the only biological daughter, Jinna thought the couple might storm into the room of the other kids and question them. To her suprise, Jolie and Pitt just walked to their room, yawning, with one embracing Shiloh in arms.
This aroused Jinna's great curiosity. In 2007, Jolie going to Vietnam to adopt an orphan has caused a sensation. Some people thought she was just acting and others thought she was obsessed with children. So Jinna wanted to see how Jolie educated kids.
Unique "Alarm clock"
At 6:30 in the morning, the alarm clock went off suddenly. Jinna got up and saw no one in the living room. Something was knocking at the door, it turned out a big Labrador dog, a smal shepherd dog, a persian cat and a sheep beating the door with their paws. As soon as the door was open, the animals went upstairs and then noises were heard.
Jinna made breakfast chocolate butter and pitza with another nanny Brandy. The Labrador dog ran into the kitchen,then a Asia-born, handsome boy appeared at the door. Brandy asked,
"Maddox, what are you going to make for breakfast?"
"Tomato pasta."
Then the sheep came, followed by a yellow-skin boy, Pax. Jinna then understood that the alarm clock set at 6:30 was to wake up the animals, who were the alarm clocks of the kids. Jinna said hello to Pax in Vietnamese, who returned in Vietnamese,too. Jinna was moved to hug him for he didn't forget his native language.
Shiloh came downstairs, followed by a persian cat. She smiled at Jinna naughtily, as if she had forget being played tricks on last night.
Maddox was very skillful at mixing tomato butter. He made breakfast for his parents once a week and it has lasted for two years. Then he picked up the interphone, said,"Daddy, wake up, or you'll find eggs in your shoes. and mommy, wake up,or kufu panda (the protagonist of a cartoon with Jolie as the co-producer) has nothing to eat but mustard."
A war at breakfast
Jolie and Pitt went downstairs with sleeping eyes. Just as kids got used to be waken up by animals, the couple also enjoyed the fun of being waken up by the kids. Spotting a kid was not around, Jolie asked,"Where is our Princess Zahara?" Pax answered,"She would go on a hunger strike as a protest for Shiloh breaking her toys, unless you two grant her the right to play with Shiloh's Treasure Chest for one day!" Jolie picked up the phone," Honey, if you go downstairs now, i promise you'll get a surprise bigger than the Treasure Chest."
At last, Zahara came down. She is a chubby black girl with bowed legs. When she was adopted, she was on the verge of death from sickness. Jolie took her across the world to find the cure and finally she was recovered.
As the kid sat down, Jolie said,while eating noodles,"Last night, someone applied glue on Shiloh's bed and i want to know who did this. I want the truth and I also need you to promise never do it again."
Maddox dropped a cookie in front of Pax, shouting"It is him who has the strong adhesive." Pax quickly stood up, retorted"It was not me, Zahara has stolen it." Zahara reacted violently, throwing chololate butter at Pax's face, which angered Pax, who throwed cholocate everywhere as if it was a bomb and shouted"Go to hell" in Vietnamese. As the war escalated, Pax shouted in Vietnamese, Zahara in African, Maddox in Cambodian,and English and French were also heard among them. Feeling a lot of fun, Shiloh shrieked excitedly, grabbed some food and applied it all over herself. Food was thrown everywhere, but the couple enjoyed their breakfast leisurely as if nothing had happened. After finishing his breakfast, Pitt said,"I am 'on duty' tonight, and who did it should confess, or none of you are allowed to watch cartoon in a week", The couple left the room, leaving the children at war.
The truth came out
As soon as Jolie and Pitt retreated, the kids became quiet. They let Brandy change their clothes and went to school. Maddox went to soccer school; Zaraha learned ballet; Pax and Shiloh learned music and painting.
As Jinna cleaned the mess, she couldn't help but feel disappointed. While Brandy explained,"Kids know where they are from, they thank their parents and want to prove that they are the best in front of Jolie and Pitt. As long as the couple is around, the kids want to assert themselves.Chocolate and pitza are their favorite food, it also because they dont hurt when used to throw at each other. The time Jolie and Pitt spent with kid is less than an hour, but they will do their best to meet their needs. Breakfast is always the same. but snacks will be served to supply nutrition"
Jinna asked,"Why doesn't she demand everyone to speak English, i think she will not know if kids speak dirty words." Brandy answered,"Because she hopes the kid will not forget where they come from. She found tutors to teach the kid their native languages, bought two houses in Vietnam and Cambodia for her two sons. Every year she takes them to live there for a couple of days, telling them to come back as they grow up to help more people there since they are one of them." Then it came to Jinna that, in this seemingly choatic family, there are humanitarian rules. At that time, the bell rang, and the department store delivered goods as the couple ordered all kinds of toys, clothes and food for the kid in their spare time, one of the package said "Treasure Chest."
In the afternoon, the kid went home one after another and did things written on the boards. When Jolie came home, she opened the presents with the kids. When Zahara got the Treasure Box, she screamed with excitement, and gave Jolie a kiss,
"Mom, i applied the glue."
"why?"Jolie asked patiently.
"Because Shiloh always falls asleep with the quilt falling off, i think if i applied some glue, the quilt will stick to her and she won't catch cold."
Maddox, standing by, cut in,"Why don't you admit it this morning?"
"Shiloh broke my toys and Pax said I wanted to revenge, so i am afraid if i told the truth, no on would believe me."
Jolie kissed gently on her face, and said,"Honey, i trust you all!"
In the evening, Pitt came back. By "on duty", he meant that making dinner for the kids by himself. By dinner, he meant French fries and fried chicken and they enjoyed their dinner. Jinna asked Brandy,"Why not revoke all the rules, for my part ,only the last one is obeyed." Brandy answered,"Don't obey all the rules doesn't mean the rules are of no use. Sometimes ease the rules a little is more effective than enforce them violently."
Such a happy family is rarely seen in the world with parents being superstars and kids being supercool sweethearts. In this familly, besides money and glory, there are also love, happiness, kindness and freedom.
