有人说这部电视剧算是中国电视剧史上的一个创举。属于‘三无’产品，无大碗，无帅哥，无女人。却让全国近一半男女老少跟着它剧情的起伏，而嘻笑怒骂……
刚刚陪老公，零零星星的看了几集《士兵突击》。印象最深刻的就是这六个大字‘不抛弃，不放弃’，像一条大大的横幅印在了脑子里。不抛弃，指的是战友间的深刻，无论在战场上还是什么样的危机情况下，对战友的态度就应该不抛弃。而不放弃，指的是对自己负责，坚持到底，即使失败了也不会觉得遗憾。这是我看了《士兵突击》后的理解，是我对这部电视剧的理解。
许三多和成才两个士兵，是同乡，一起去当兵，看似相同的起点，以及最后相同的终点。但是由于两个人性格的差别，过程则是截然不同。许三多，单纯，简单，就像庄稼地里的玉米棒子，让人一眼就能看个明白，猜个透彻，也正因为这种简单，甚至有点愚笨，才让接触过他的人，对他产生一种怜悯。又因为他的脑袋一根筋，有一股傻劲，认死扣，该做的事情，吃多少苦也要做。不拖战友的后腿，不给同志们丢脸。又让对他产生怜悯的人，对他又多了一份敬佩。
许三多的正义感，让我觉得那么的不真实，至少我没有遇到过这样好的人，可能这是对一个角色的刻划问题，让主角拥有辨识度很高的性格特征。他更像一本讲述真理的伟大的教课书。凡是书上讲过的道理，伟人们说过的真理，和人民们呼喊过的口号。许三多似乎都照做。就像琼瑶剧中的女主角，善良的一塌糊涂。
观众喜欢许三多也正是因为他的不真实，他似乎是一种理想化的人生，是所有人理想境界中创造出来的自己。很多人想象自己像许三多一样活，一样堂堂正正的活，做有意义的事，好好的活。可是，现实中的我们，怎么样也活不成那样。所以，我们就更加喜欢许三多。
而成才，则真实得多。俗话说，人不为己，天诛地灭。成才，更生活。但是，我们都不喜欢电视剧中太真实太活生生的人。他就像我们自己，或者说，每个人的心里都住着一个成才，当我们自私自利的时候，当我们为求目的，放弃一些良心的时候。
成才，很聪明，很精，他知道怎样向上爬，并且也爬得不错，他圆滑，他体面，他世故。可是，别人看他，是自私，是虚伪，是无情无义。他并不是坏，他就是不懂。当他成为他们连第一个跳槽的人之后，他还天真的以为会有半个连的人来送他，跟他道别，可事实，除了他唯一的好朋友许三多来送他之外，甚至没有一个人在他离开时候跟他说句话。
他的眼睛里只有自己，其他的同僚，他把他们当作竞争者来看，而不是战友。关键时刻，他可以抛弃战友，自己跑去冲向胜利，事后他还觉得理所应当。他努力，他上进，他积极，他把他所有的任务都完成得让自己满意，但是却得不到领导的赏识。他的确很优秀，但是他始终不懂，为何他的成绩和他在别人心中的地位有那么大的差别。
他的领导袁朗说他不懂得什么叫‘不抛弃，不放弃’。把他赶回他来的地方。那个地方，偏僻，安静，远离一切，是那种在一望无际的草原上驻守。许三多说，那个地方，无论你多么优秀也不会有人看到。成才不得不放慢了脚步，或者说停下了脚步。记得成才离开的时候对许三多说：我来的时候，砍光了我的枝枝蔓蔓，现在我走了，回去找我的枝枝蔓蔓。
果然，半年的沉淀之后，成才变了。不再争名夺利，此刻的成才懂得知足，懂得看淡，越来越像一粒微尘，淹没在茫茫的大草原中。他觉得此刻他很舒服，他很享受这段时光。虽然绕了一个圈子，最后他还是回到了袁朗的老A队伍里。比起许三多笔直大道，成才似乎多走了许多弯路，但是我觉得这一切都是值得的，他比许三多经历的更多，也会懂得更多。
我们每个人的心里都住着一个许三多和一个成才。两种性格混合一起才是数以万计的普通老百姓。我们没有那么好，更没有那么坏，我们是那样的平凡，偶尔耍点小聪明，使点小手段，发点小善心，一部分时候最爱自己，也有相当一部分时间爱爱别人，我们都参杂各种各样的感情，不太单纯，眼光偶尔远，偶尔近，心胸时而宽，时而窄。想要做个好人，偶尔耍点心机，是这样吧，这样的丰富多彩。
我会记住许三多和成才，他们都有我学习和欣赏的地方。许三多的坚韧和成才的执着。‘不抛弃，不放弃’，每当我认真的思考这六个字的时候，我觉得自己似乎也会变得伟大起来。《士兵突击》，只要坚持自难弃、并学会难自弃、才能做到弃自难……哈哈，红袖来段绕口令！！！

No abandonment, never giving up
Someone makes a comment that this teleplay can be called creativity in the history of Chinese TV plays, which can be categorized as “three without” products: without famous star, without handsome man, without woman. However, it is such kind of play that makes nearly half Chinese people laugh and cry with the complicated plot.
With the companion of my husband, I had finished watching several Episodes of “soldier sortie”. What impress me most are the six big words” no abandon, never giving up”, which like a big slogan pressed in my mind. No abandon, means the deep friendship between comrades in arms. No matter in the war field or in other emergency, no abandon represents an attitude towards the comrades in arm. And never giving up refers to the responsibility to oneself. One will never regret when he stick it out even with the result of failure. This is the understanding after I have watched this teleplay.
Xusanduo and Chengcai are two soldiers from the same village. They have the experience that seems alike: the same beginning and the same final. Actually, due to the difference of their character, the procedures they went through are totally different. Xusanduo, who is as naïve and innocent as the corn in the field, is easy for person to look through. And maybe for the quality of naivety, even some fond, people who contact with him will feel sympathy with him. And because he is one track minded, he will persist doing what he thought was right. His considerations for not making trouble to his comrades and not bringing shame on them make himself the respectable image in the people’s heart.
In my view, the keen sense of justice of Xusanduo is not so reliable in modern society: at least I had never encountered such good person. Maybe it’s a must for a teleplay to have a main role with a high identified character. He is much more like a great teaching book of truth. He did the things which had been encouraged in the book, the truth mentioned by great people, the slogan appealed by people. He played a role like that of the actress in Qiongyao’s TV, with the quality of kindness.
The audiences’ fondness for Xusanduo is because of his unreality. It seems that he represents an idealized life, which is created by people in their ideal world.
Many people imagined their livings as significant as Xusanduo’s. However, in the real world, it is too hard to live as him. Therefore, it added our favor to Xu. As to Chengcai, his role is common in daily life. There is an old saying---Self-preservation is the first law of nature. Chengcai is a role more familiar to us. But people seem to prefer an ideal one to a realistic one with the reason that Chengcai is just like our human beings, sometimes have to give up our conscience in order to meet our ambitions.
Chengcai is a smart and canny person who is good at catching opportunities. However, in people’s eyes, his cunning became an expression of selfishness and hypocrisy. Actually, Chengcai was not a bad person, but he didn’t understand to compromising his ambitions to the society. After his becoming the first member to jump to another company, he even got the thought that people in the old company would see him off. However, the fact was no one spoke to him except his unique friend Xu. Chengcai is selfish. In his eyes, his comrades in arms are all his competitors. He could abandon them to seek fame at the critical moment without feeling guilty. However, his hardworking, motivation and activeness received no appreciation from his leader.
He is undoubtedly outstanding, but there is a confusion in his mind that why his achievement had so much a difference with his image in other’s eyes.
Yuanlang, one of his leaders said that he did not understand what was “no abandonment, never giving up”. Hence, he was kidded back to his hometown where was remote, quite and far away from the uproar of the city; it was a vast grassland that extends as far as the eye can see. As Xu had said, in there, no matter how excellent you were, no body could discover your talent. Chengcai was forced to slow down his step or even stop for thinking. There was a scene that Chengcai told Xu at their separation, I came with my roots cutting up, now I have to turned back to find them.
As expected, Chengcai had changed through half year’s reflection. He was more than ever to understand what content meant. He just likes tiny dust covered in the vast grassland. However, he felt comfortable to enjoy such beautiful time. Finally, he returned to the Old A company of Yulang. Compared with Xu, Chengcai went through much more than him, but I think it worth: no pains, no gains.
In my understanding, each of us ordinary person to some extent has the mixed quality of Xu and Chengcai. We behave as common as others. Sometimes we play a little trick, use some means or make some charity. Sometimes we are the most favorite one in our heart, sometimes we also love others. We all are the mixture of all kinds of emotions. We dream for being a kind person but sometimes will play a trick; we are a little bit far from naïve and with a long-term or short term sight; we are sometimes narrow-minded but sometimes with a broad heart. That is life, so wonderful and colorful.
I will remember Xu and Chengcai; for they have the quality we should learn----Xu’s toughness and Chengcai’s persistence. Every time when I consider the six words—no abandonment, never giving up, I will get the feeling that I become a little bit outstanding. “Soldier sortie”, only can we learn never giving up others, we will not be give up by life. That’s my understanding!
