北京时间6月26日消息 据英国《每日邮报》报道，日前，一款能够展现表情的机器人在日本东京早稻田大学揭开神秘面纱。据悉，这款名为“Kobian”的类人机器人可以利用整个身体展现每一种不同的情绪。
它和我们人类一样，也长着可以活动的眉毛和眼睑，研究人员甚至还为它安装了一对亮粉红色嘴唇。除此之外，Kobian还长着双重关节脖子，帮助它完成更富于表情的动作。为了展现悲伤这种情绪，Kobian会闭合眼睑，身体向前弯曲同时将手放在前额上。展示快乐时，它的嘴巴会张开，眼睛睁大同时将手臂举向半空，做出庆祝胜利的动作。表现厌恶时，它会噘起嘴唇同时将一只手收回，就像是一个柔弱的女子。
Kobian由早稻田大学教授高梨惇生(Atsuo Takanashi)以及日本南部从事机器人开发的TMSUK公司率领的一群研究人员研制。在2008年举行的IEE计算机通讯大会上，Kobian第一次以潜在老年人护理员身份登台亮相。
最初的时候，Kobian只能用头部展现情绪。由于这种局限性，使用者表示这款机器人很难展示他们希望的情绪。在得到这一反馈之后，研究人员对Kobian进行了改进，使其能够通过整个身体的活动更准确地展示情绪。
除了展现情绪外，Kobian还是一款出色的步行机器人，它能够感知周围环境，顺利完成主人交待的任务。Kobian的双手由橡胶制成，拥有和人手类似的柔软性。开发人员相信这种情感机器人能够应用于护理领域。

Japanese new robot that shows pleasure, anger, sorrow and joy
(26th June, Beijing mean time) According to Daily Mail from UK, recently one robot that can display expressions has been brought to light in Waseda University in Japan. It is said that this humanoid robot called "Kobian" can show all different emotions by using its whole body.
Like we human beings, the robot has mobile eyebrows and eyelids. Researchers even gave it a pair of light pink lips. Also, Kobian has a double jointed neck which helps it to achieve more expressive postures. In order to show sadness, Kobian will close its eyelids, bend forward and put its hand on the forehead at the same time. Showing happiness, Kobian will open its mouth and its eyes wide and extend its arms into the air as a victory salute. As for disgust, it will purse its lips and withdraw one hand just like a delicate woman.
Kobian was developed researchers led by professor Atsuo Takanashi from Waseda University and robots manufacturer TMSUK, which is a company from southern Japan. It made its debut at the IEE conference on computer communications in 2008 as a potential carer for the elderly.
Originally, Kobian could use its head only to show emotions. Due to the limitation, users said that the robot was hard to interpret. After getting that feedback, researchers improved Kobian, making it express emotions more precisely by moving its whole body.
Besides showing emotions, Kobian is also an outstanding walking robot. It can perceive the surroundings and achieve what it is told to do. Its hands are made of rubber, which gives them softness like people's hands. Developers believe that this expressive robot could be used in nursing.
